As part of her visit to Bahrain, Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, held a meeting with Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, AzVision.az reports.
The meeting highlighted the strong relations between the two countries and peoples. The importance of further expanding bilateral cooperation in various fields was also emphasized.
The Crown Prince of Bahrain acknowledged Azerbaijan's continuous support for solving global issues and noted the country's high-level hosting of the COP29 international event. He expressed his gratitude for the "Mother Nature" exhibition organized in Bahrain as part of environmental protection initiatives. Additionally, the environmental protection efforts led by Leyla Aliyeva in Azerbaijan and other countries were highly praised.
The discussion also covered future collaboration between Azerbaijan and Bahrain, including joint participation in international expos, such as Expo 2025 in Japan, which will begin in April.
Furthermore, the successful hosting of prestigious events like Formula 1 races in both Azerbaijan and Bahrain was highlighted, emphasizing the importance of motorsports in the region and exploring future cooperation in this area.
