President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will visit Turkiye on March 5, AzVision.az reports that this was announced by Fahrettin Altun, Head of the Communications Department of the Turkish Presidential Administration.
Altun stated that the visit will take place at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
He noted that discussions at the Presidential Complex will focus on current regional and global developments. Additionally, both leaders will exchange views on strengthening the brotherly ties between Türkiye and Azerbaijan.
As part of the visit, a virtual inauguration ceremony will be held for the Iğdır-Nakhchivan natural gas pipeline, which was initiated by the presidents of Azerbaijan and Türkiye on September 25, 2023.
