On 4th March 2025, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF), Islamabad visited the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Islamabad, and met His Excellency Khazar Farhadov, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Pakistan.
During the meeting, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram congratulated Ambassador Farhadov on the successful visit of the Prime Minister of Pakistan to Azerbaijan. He noted that this visit had further explored areas of mutual interest and bilateral cooperation, expressing a desire to enhance collaboration across various sectors.
Mr. Akram also praised H.E. Khazar Farhadov for his efforts in strengthening regional connectivity, trade, and cultural cooperation, as well as for deepening the relationships between Pakistan and Azerbaijan. He also acknowledged the leadership of the President of Azerbaijan, H.E. Ilham Aliyev.
H.E. Khazar Farhadov, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram for his contributions to strengthening people-to-people contacts between Azerbaijan and Pakistan. He assured Mr. Akram of his full support for PRCCSF’s future initiatives, which include academic and think tank-level cooperation with institutions in Azerbaijan.
Both Mr. Akram and Ambassador Farhadov agreed to collaborate on future projects and events aimed at further enhancing the relationship between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
