Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Iğdır-Nakhchivan gas pipeline via video link, President Ilham Aliyev highlighted how energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye has paved the way for major transport projects, including the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway.
President Aliyev underscored that the railway, which links Azerbaijan and Türkiye, offers strategic advantages not only for both countries but also for the wider region. Most importantly, he noted, it serves as a vital corridor for strengthening unity across the Turkic world.
He also emphasized that the strong partnership between Azerbaijan and Türkiye makes a valuable contribution to the solidarity and cooperation of all Turkic nations.
