To mark the holy month of Ramadan, the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Kingdom of Morocco, in cooperation with the Moroccan Scouts Organization in Rabat, has begun organizing a collective Iftar for 750 fasting men and women over a period of three to four days, AzVision.az reports citing Azertag.
The Moroccan Scouts Organization, a voluntary educational movement, views this humanitarian initiative as a moral duty. The Azerbaijani Embassy provided Iftar meals, including a variety of traditional Azerbaijani dishes, sweets, and drinks.
Members of the ambassador’s family, other diplomats, representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora, and members of the Moroccan Scouts Organization participated in this event. They actively contributed to preparing the Iftar table, which served as a symbol of solidarity and compassion. Children also played a role in the event, adding to the warm and spiritual atmosphere.
The Azerbaijani Embassy in Morocco continues to implement various programs aimed at promoting the country’s values and traditions through cultural and humanitarian initiatives. These efforts not only strengthen cultural and humanitarian ties between Azerbaijan and Morocco but also help to showcase Azerbaijan’s commitment to human values on the international stage.
