“Azerbaijan is a critical partner for Southeastern Europe. Azerbaijan has proven itself as a reliable partner in our difficult times,” said former Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev at a press conference for the Board of Trustees of the 12th Baku Global Forum.
"My country has already stopped exporting Russian gas to Bulgaria. Azerbaijan has become a reliable energy supplier for us in this difficult period. This has led to the transition of our relations to a new level," he noted.
Drawing attention to the existence of new projects, Rosen Plevneliev emphasized: "We are carrying out transportation from China to Europe via Azerbaijan. Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Georgia and other countries will participate in our new project."
