Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov, announced that negotiations on the draft peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan have been successfully completed.
Speaking to journalists, Bayramov noted that only two unresolved issues remained in the discussions, but Armenia has recently accepted Azerbaijan’s proposals and communicated them through official channels. "With this, we can confirm that the text of the agreement is now finalized," he stated.
The minister emphasized that Azerbaijan now expects Armenia to amend its Constitution and legal framework to remove any territorial claims against Azerbaijan—an essential condition for signing the peace agreement. He also highlighted the importance of dissolving the OSCE Minsk Group and its related institutions, calling it a crucial step in moving beyond the past conflict.
