Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov emphasized the importance of balanced diplomacy in an evolving geopolitical landscape, highlighting the country’s commitment to both national interests and international cooperation.
Speaking at the panel session "Reimagining Multilateralism for a Multipolar World" at the 12th Global Baku Forum, Bayramov noted that the global system of international relations is undergoing significant changes, with geopolitical shifts and large-scale conflicts reshaping diplomacy. He stressed the need for constructive solutions to global crises, moving away from the use of force and fostering dialogue.
The minister underscored that multipolarity reflects a shift in global power dynamics, with nations focusing more on bilateral partnerships to achieve stability. "Azerbaijan values multilateral engagement and works closely with international organizations, ensuring that while we protect our national interests, we also respect the interests of others," he stated.
