The Azerbaijani Embassy in Syria, with the support of the Azerbaijan International Development Agency (AIDA), and in collaboration with the Syrian Women's Al-Mabarrah Society, organized an Iftar dinner for 1,000 orphaned children in Damascus (twice) and in the heavily damaged Spena settlement of Damascus on March 25-27.
According to the Azerbaijani Embassy, during the charity event, held with the participation of the representatives of the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the "Vatan" newspaper and Syrian television, as well as Türkiye’s TRT and Anadolu Agency, Maha Diab, the Chairwoman of the Board of the Women's Al-Mabarrah Society, expressed her gratitude to Azerbaijan for this noble initiative during the holy month of Ramadan.
As part of the charity events, which lasted three days, various entertainment programs were also held for orphans, allowing them to experience unforgettable moments and a real festive atmosphere.
