Azerbaijani oil prices increase in world markets

The price of Azerbaijan’s Azeri Light crude oil on a CIF basis in the Italian port of Augusta on April 10 grew by $2.05 (3.19 percent) compared to the previous rate, now sitting at $66.16 per barrel, AzVision.az reports, citing Trend.

On an FOB basis in the Turkish port of Ceyhan, the price of Azeri Light went up by $2.01 (3.21 percent) to $64.54 per barrel.

Meanwhile, the price of URALS crude rose by $2.75 (5.78 percent) from the previous rate, amounting to $50.26 per barrel.

North Sea benchmark crude, Dated Brent, increased by $2.75 (4.38 percent) in price from the previous rate ($65.44 per barrel).

The official exchange rate as of April 11 is 1.7 AZN/1 USD.

The average price of a barrel of oil in the state budget of Azerbaijan for 2025 is estimated at $70.
