President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on measures for the capital repair of the Sarhadabad-Aliabad-Zahmatabad-Soltankend highway in Jalilabad district, AzVision.az reports.
According to the decree, for capital repair of the Sarhadabad-Aliabad-Zakhmetabad-Soltankend highway connecting 9 settlements with a population of seven thousand people, the State Roads Agency of Azerbaijan was initially allocated 1.5 million manat ($880,000) from the amount specified in subparagraph 1.19.21 of the “Distribution of funds envisaged for state-financed investments (investment expenditures) in the state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025” approved by the decree of the State Roads Agency of Azerbaijan.
The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan must provide financing in the amount specified in this decree, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan must include in the distribution of expenditures on state capital investments in the draft state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026 the financial means necessary to continue the capital repair of the highway specified in this decree, and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan must solve the issues arising from this decree.
