A delegation from the Azerbaijan Naval Forces, led by Chief of Staff and First Deputy Commander 1st grade Captain Teymur Murshudov, visited Ankara to take part in the 10th Staff Talks with their Turkish counterparts, the Ministry of Defense reported.
The visit began with a tribute to National Leader Heydar Aliyev at Heydar Aliyev Park in Ankara, followed by a visit to Anıtkabir, the mausoleum of Türkiye’s founder Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
Discussions between the naval delegations focused on strengthening cooperation and sharing expertise between the two brotherly countries. A wide range of collaborative areas were reviewed during the talks.
The visit concluded with the signing of a protocol to enhance naval cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
