The fifth annual meeting of the heads of the Space Agencies and relevant institutions of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) is planned to be held in Kazakhstan, the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, Kubanychbek Omuraliyev noted during the fourth meeting of the OTS Space Agencies, held in Baku.
"Another item on the agenda is our next meeting. These meetings are usually held in alphabetical order. This year, the meeting was supposed to take place in Kazakhstan but our Azerbaijani colleagues requested that it be hosted in Baku. We hope that the meeting will be held in Kazakhstan in 2026," Kubanychbek Omuraliyev said.
He also noted that the 77th International Astronautical Congress will be held in October in Antalya.
