Rovshan Rustamov, Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY), met with Feridun Sinirlioğlu, Secretary General of the OSCE.
The meeting saw discussions on prospects for cooperation in the transport and logistics sector.
The OSCE delegation was provided with detailed information about Azerbaijan’s transport and logistics potential within the framework of the project “Promoting Green Ports and Connectivity in the Caspian Region” initiated by Azerbaijan.
It was noted as part of reforms to strengthen Azerbaijan’s transit potential, the integration of the Baku Port into ADY will not only enhance the country’s transit capabilities but also contribute to a more efficient organization of cargo transportation along international corridors.
The parties underlined that jointly implemented projects and initiatives will contribute to strengthening Azerbaijan’s position as a transportation hub and ensuring the sustainable development of the region.
