Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order to widely celebrate the 150th anniversary of the National Press in Azerbaijan.
Under the Order, considering the place of the National Press in the socio-political and cultural life of Azerbaijan, its role in the development of culture and enlightenment, its contributions to the construction of a modern society and further enhancement of the country's international reputation, the 150th anniversary of the National Press will be extensively celebrated across the country.
The Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in collaboration with the Azerbaijan’s Media Development Agency and Azerbaijani Press Council, will ensure the holding of the anniversary events.
The Cabinet of Ministers has been tasked with addressing financial matters related to the order.
