Azerbaijani Embassy in Australia holds Open Door Day
The Azerbaijani Embassy in Australia has held Open Door Day as part of the program "Windows to the World
More than 250 visitors in the groups of 45-50 people attended the pre-booked tours on October 3. Employees of several embassies in Canberra were among the visitors, the embassy told APA.

During the first 30 minutes of 80-minute tours, the visitors were given information about Azerbaijan, their questions were answered. Informative brochures and booklets were available. 15-minute video about the country and national dresses were displayed. Canberra based dancing group “Land of Fire” performed several Azerbaijani dances.

Then the visitors sampled traditional foods such as plov, dolma and kebab, Azerbaijani cognac and wines.

As part of the event, the embassy, via "ABC 666" radio channel, made presentation of Azerbaijani culture, history, cuisine, economy, etc.
