Euronews Academy launches operations in Azerbaijan

Euronews Academy, an international training platform, is launching its operations in Azerbaijan through a collaboration between the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Euronews, one of Europe's leading television news channels, AzVision.az reports.

The Academy’s inaugural module, “Digital Journalism,” will take place from June 23 to 27, offering young journalists, final-year students specializing in journalism and communications, as well as other students interested in the media sector the opportunity to participate free of charge.

This program is designed to develop professional skills in journalism and media.

The trainings will be conducted by famous experts of Euronews - Tuba Altunkaya, multimedia journalist with nearly 15 years of experience in international news, Fatih Yetim, Senior social media editor in more than 70 social media accounts in 13 languages, and Archil Mikadze, who has over 19 years of experience as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Euronews Georgia.

The most successful participants will be offered internship opportunities at Euronews.

The deadline for applications is June 12.
