On May 31, Jeyhun Bayramov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a telephone conversation with Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The discussions focused on a range of bilateral and multilateral cooperation issues on the agenda of the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Pakistan.
The sides hailed the growing dynamics of high-level reciprocal visits. They also exchanged views on upcoming engagements, including preparations for the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit, which Azerbaijan is set to host in July this year.
During the phone conversation, the ministers also discussed other bilateral and regional issues of mutual concern.
