SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf participated in the 9th OPEC International Seminar held in the Austrian capital of Vienna.
As part of the seminar, which serves as a key platform for global energy discussions, bringing together leading energy companies, the SOCAR President joined numerous events and held bilateral meetings.
Addressing the high-level roundtable on “Policies and Regulations: A Just and Realistic Energy Future,” Rovshan Najaf emphasized that the energy transition must be tailored to each country's unique circumstances, considering its specific national conditions and economic potential.
In this regard, he shared insights into Azerbaijan's energy strategy in the modern era, as well as SOCAR's measures towards energy security and sustainable development.
On the sidelines of the event, Rovshan Najaf held bilateral meetings with Patrick Pouyanné, Chairman and CEO of TotalEnergies; Jeff Miller, Chairman, President and CEO of Halliburton Co; Majid Jafar, CEO of Crescent Petroleum; and Ahmed Al Azkawi, CEO of OQEP.
During the meetings, discussions focused on exploring collaborative possibilities within the energy sector and exchanging perspectives on jointly implemented projects.
