According to order, relevant headquarter was established, head of the headquarter will be minister Ali Abbasov

Minister of Communication and High Technologies Ali Abbasov has signed an order for providing the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in 2017 with internet, mobile and broadcasting services.

According to the order, relevant headquarter was established. Head of the headquarter is Ali Abbasov, deputy head is the first deputy minister Iltimas Mammadov.

The headquarter also includes Aztelekom LLC Director General Mahammad Mammadov, Director General of Baku Telephone Communication Production Union Beytulla Huseynov, Director General of Azerpoct LLC Ganbar Beybalayev, Chairman of Azerkosmos OJSC Rashad Nabiyev, Director of Data Processing Center (DPC) Nail Mardanov, Head of the Electronic Security Center Faig Farmanov, acting president of Azercell Telecom LLC Vahid Mursaliyev, Bakcell`s CEO Richard Shearer, Azerfon CEO Kent McNeley and other persons.

Along with this, a Coordinating Working Group has been set up to prepare technical proposals, discuss them, provide the headquarter with operative proposals and information, contact with other executors in the telecommunication sector.

The headquarter is to:

- take important measures in accordance with the Organizing Committee to provide the objects and other places, where the games will be held, with telecommunication, internet, mobile and broadcasting services;

- take measures for allocation of required radiofrequencies;

- Regularly prepare operative information about the process and report to me;

- Involve more specialists and experts (if needed) from enterprises in case of preparation of technical proposals and holding discussions.
