President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended a ceremony to start the supply of drinking water to the city, the opening of a children`s music school, the opening of a chess school, the opening of Youth Center in Goychay and the opening of New administrative building of Goychay district branch of New Azerbaijan Party.

The head of state viewed the stands reflecting the master plan of the project to reconstruct the water supply and sewage system of Goychay. Chairman of Azersu Gorkhmaz Huseynov informed President Ilham Aliyev that the project aimed to improve water supply and sewerage system for 43,000 residents of the city of Goychay. The implementation of the project started in 2008, and will be completed in 2016. After reviewing the project, President Ilham Aliyev launched the installation to start the supply of drinking water to the city of Goychay.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of a children`s music school in Goychay. The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the school. The two-storey building occupies a total area of 650 square meters.

The building houses a 80-seat concert hall for holding different cultural events. All classrooms were provided with necessary equipment and instruments. The head of state was informed that the school enrolls 430 pupils who are served by 107 teachers.

Later, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of a chess school in Goychay. The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the school. Photo stands reflecting national leader Heydar Aliyev`s and President Ilham Aliyev`s meetings with sportsmen, including chess players were installed in the foyer of the building.

The building of the school was constructed in 1983, the reconstruction work started here in 2014. The building houses a 60-seat competition hall, computer and teachers` rooms, and three classrooms. The head of state was informed that the school enrolls 251 pupils who are served by 11 teachers.

Later, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the Youth Center in Goychay. The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the center. President Ilham Aliyev then viewed the conditions created here.

The head of state was informed that high-quality construction work was carried out in the two-storey building, which occupies an area of 3,400 square meters. All necessary conditions were created here for youth. A bust of national leader Heydar Aliyev was erected in the foyer of the center. The foyer also was decorated with the photo stands reflecting the visits of national leader Heydar Aliyev to Goychay and his meetings with residents. There are also photo stands depicting President Ilham Aliyev`s life and activity, as well as his meetings with youth.

The center houses a bowling hall, golf, intellectual games rooms, a cafe, dance and photo studios. It provides foreign language, painting, carpet-making, polygraph and sculpture courses. The center has a 60-seat meeting hall and a 15-seat conference hall. The head of state hailed the conditions created in the center, and gave his instructions and recommendations.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the inauguration of a new administrative building of Goychay District branch of the New Azerbaijan Party. The head of state cut the ribbon to officially open the building. President Ilham Aliyev then viewed the conditions created.

A bust of national leader Heydar Aliyev was installed in the foyer of the building. There are also photo stands reflecting the New Azerbaijan Party-related activity of the founder of the party, national leader Heydar Aliyev and its chairman, President Ilham Aliyev.

The building houses an assembly hall, e-library, as well as offices of Women`s Council and Youth Union of the district branch. The new building also has a 120-seat conference hall for holding different events. The head of state was informed that Goychay District branch of the New Azerbaijan Party has 7,663 members, including 4,378 women and 3,006 young people.
