Chief of General Staff of Turkish Armed Forces visits Parliament

Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, Army General Hulusi Akar has visited Azerbaijani Parliament to meet Speaker Ogtay Asadov.

Mr. Asadov offered condolences to families and relatives of those who died in terror acts in Turkey, and wished those wounded recovery. The Speaker applauded Azerbaijani-Turkish ties, stressing the role of heads of states in developing the bilateral relationship, AzerTag reports.

Mr Asadov highlighted military cooperation between the two countries, and emphasized the significance of holding joint military trainings.

The Turkish Chief of General Staff also praised the two countries` military cooperation.
