Turkish President Erdogan met with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan

On the margins of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit, President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.

The leaders discussed Türkiye-Armenia relations against the background of steps towards lasting stability and peace in the South Caucasus.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

According to the Turkish President, Türkiye supports peace, stability and development in the region and will continue to contribute to the process.

President Erdogan hailed the steps towards enhancing cooperation between Türkiye and Armenia.
