Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s recent visit to China has provided a strong impetus to bilateral and multilateral cooperation across various fields, while also enriching the content of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries, said Lu Mei, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Azerbaijan, at a briefing dedicated to the outcomes of the visit.
“I have recently returned from Beijing, where I participated in the events held within the framework of President Ilham Aliyev’s visit,” Ambassador Lu Mei added. “From August 30 to September 3, President Ilham Aliyev visited China at the invitation of President Xi Jinping. When President Ilham Aliyev was seen off at the airport, he expressed his satisfaction with the visit and conveyed his gratitude for the sincere and friendly reception extended by China.”
