On September 23, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev held a series of meetings with several heads of state at the United Nations headquarters in New York. The discussions, which took place on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, focused on bilateral relations and international cooperation.
President Aliyev's day of diplomatic engagements began with a meeting with Iraqi President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid.

Later, President Aliyev met with Kenyan President William Samoei Ruto.

President Aliyev also held talks with Finnish President Alexander Stubb.

President Ilham Aliyev also held a meeting with Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic.
