The State Tourism Agency has developed a detailed tourism map for Sim village in Astara and installed it in the village centre.
Ilgar Azimov, Head of Lankaran Regional Tourism Office, stated at the media tour to Sim village in Astara, organized by the STA and added that the map highlights the main tourist attractions of the village. The map has been placed in the village centre to help local and foreign tourists to find their way around them easily.
‘At the same time, the Agency has also installed signposts throughout the village and the process is still ongoing’, Azimov noted.
Kanan Guluzade, Advisor to the Chairman of the State Tourism Agency, provided detailed information about the map, emphasizing that it features not only natural sites, such as nearly 50 waterfalls in the area, but also historical monuments (for example, the prison dating back to the Safavid era).
