Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, Chief of General Staff of Turkish Armed Forces Hulusi Akar visited military units in Shamkir,AzVision.az reports with citing the website of the Ministry of Defense.
Hasanov and Akar visited monument to Heydar Aliyev in the territory of military unit and laid flowers.
Hulusi Akar familiarized himself with the area devoted to Heydar Aliyev. The guest was informed about the history of the military unit, activity, staff, military training, maintenance, morale of staff, social conditions and the work done in recent years.
The guest reviewed the military unit, visited the barracks, infirmary, dining room, bath and laundry complex. Turkish general was pleased with the established terms and conditions for the soldiers here.
Chief of General Staff of Turkish Armed Forces visited Heydar Aliyev Center in Ganja, Nizami mausoleum, the house where the flag of Nuri Pasha was discovered and the Turkish Consulate General in Ganja.
The visit of the delegation to Azerbaijan ended.
