The MP stressed that if the CoE is really so much concerned about human rights, the structure should, in the first place, pay attention to what is happening within Europe, as well as in the Middle East.
“No one is concerned about the fate and basic human rights of hundreds of thousands of refugees, who came to Europe to escape civil wars and chaos that resulted from the contemplative position of European political institutions, including the Council of Europe,” he said.
“The Council of Europe should first think about the rights of those people,” Aliyev added.
