New project by Azerbaijan-Korean Cultural Exchange Association
SEBA (Seoul-Baku) Azerbaijan-Korean Cultural Exchange Association is implementing a new project in Seoul, South Korea.
On 7 October 2015, the Korean Publishers Association held the International Book Fair titled “Learn culture, learn the world” in Seoul.

Note that, the fair was first held under the name of the Soul Book Fair in 1954. In 1995, the name was officially changed to the Seoul International Book Fair.

The fair is intended to promote book-reading, present the participating countries’ products of publication and have the world recognize the capabilities of Korea’s publication industry.

The fair, which is underway in COEX Center, is joined 16 countries along with Azerbaijan. Our country is represented at the fair by the SEBA (Seoul-Baku) Azerbaijan-Korean Cultural Exchange Association.

67 different books, magazines, catalogs, brochures, postcards, videos, music CDs representing Azerbaijan’s ancient history, rich culture, national values are on display at the fair. Since the start of the fair, Azerbaijan’s stand attracted much attention and interest from Korea’s community, Korean readers as well as representatives of other participating countries.

The fair has been organized by SEBA (Seoul-Baku) Azerbaijan-Korean Cultural Exchange Association and the Azerbaijani embassy in South Korea and supported by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The fair will come to an end on October 11.
