The letter reads: "Dear Mr. President,
As the head of our state and Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, thanks to your wise, principled, and resolute policy, the unbreakable will of our people, state-people unity, and the heroism of our valiant army, we proudly mark the 5th anniversary of November 8 - Victory Day, one of the brightest chapters in our modern history.
You are the chief architect of this glorious Victory, achieved not only on the battlefield but also through struggles on diplomatic and information fronts.
During the 44-day Patriotic War, in interviews with over 30 influential global media outlets, you expressed Azerbaijan's rightful position and the fight for restoring historical justice with high professionalism and great skill. You calmly answered even biased questions with the voice of history and justice, conveying our people's voice to the world with facts and arguments.
Azerbaijani media and journalists, united like a fist around you, provided citizens and the international community with prompt and objective information from both the front lines and diplomatic and information trenches. Taking you as an example, our journalists demonstrated true professionalism and patriotism in conveying Azerbaijan's just voice to the world and combating disinformation and provocations against our country. Transforming into soldiers of the information front, they made moral and ideological contributions to the Victory.
Today, the war is behind us, and our people are living through the revival of liberated territories and the era of the "Great Return." The rapid implementation of large-scale restoration and reconstruction works, creation of modern infrastructure, and formation of new appearances for cities and villages demonstrate the power and will of the Azerbaijani state to the world. Azerbaijani media actively participates in this process—covering the progress achieved, conveying the joy of people returning to their homeland, the scale of construction, and the essence of state policy to the people and the world.
Your attention and care for the media serve as both moral support and a great incentive for journalists. Your assessment of the media as an important force in defending national interests and the importance you attach to its free, responsible, and patriotic activities have brought new momentum to the development of the media environment in our country.
One striking example of this development is the Shusha Global Media Forum. This prestigious event held in Shusha, the cultural capital of our country, is not only a media discussion but also an expression of Azerbaijan's message of peace, justice, and cooperation to the world.
Dear Mr. President,
On this magnificent and historic day, on behalf of the media community and our journalists, we congratulate you and wish you long life, robust health, and success in your noble and honorable state activities for the further development of our country and strengthening of our national statehood.
May this Victory serve as an example of national unity, statehood, and pride for future generations!"
