Matthew Bryza: PACE rapporteur disallowed to visit NK seems unusual
Former US ambassador to Azerbaijan Matthew Bryza commented on Robert Walter, the rapporteur of the PACE committee on political affairs and democracy for the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, having been disallowed by the separatist regime in Nagorno-Karabakh to visit the region.

The former ambassador thinks the decision is unusual.

“I can tell you from my own experience that it’s very unusual that the forces in control of occupied Nagorno-Karabakh do not allow Robert Walter, a world-famous person, to visit the region,” he said.

Note that, Robert Walter made a visit to the Azerbaijani side of the line of contact on September 17. But the occupying regime has not allowed him to visit Nagorno-Karabakh.
