As part of the visit, the ambassador met with mayor of the city Lucian Daniel Stanciu-Viziteu.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the development of relations between the two countries` regions, the establishment of friendly relations with one of the Azerbaijani cities that is culturally and economically close to the city of Bacau, identifying potential areas of cooperation, implementing reciprocal visits and developing sustainable cooperative relations.
The ambassador highlighted the favorable investment opportunities in Azerbaijan, transport and logistics projects of great strategic importance between Azerbaijan and Romania. The diplomat also spoke about large-scale reconstruction and construction projects being implemented in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan.
The Romanian mayor expressed his interest in cooperation with Azerbaijan. He briefed on the economic and business opportunities of the region, emphasizing the importance of joint activities to promote mutual investments.
