On December 9, Director-General of ICESCO Salim bin Mohammed Al Malik will visit the headquarters of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation in Baku.
As part of the visit, a bilateral meeting will be held to discuss issues related to the preservation of cultural heritage, the expansion of scientific cooperation, and the strengthening of mutual institutional support.
During the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation will be signed, providing for the promotion of Turkic-Islamic cultural heritage at the international level and the enhancement of strategic partnership between the parties.
The meeting will also address the impact of modern global challenges on cultural heritage, the strengthening of effective international mechanisms for its protection, as well as the relevance of preparing nomination dossiers.
Additionally, the parties will exchange views on expanding cooperation between the Foundation and ICESCO and on jointly advancing cultural heritage at the international level.
The visit program will include an artistic segment.
