"For more than 20 years, the two countries have been cooperating closely in the field of oil and gas. I see great potential in other areas. At the moment, we are working in other areas, such as agriculture, the Internet economy, the transport sector. We have a new program of assistance to help the development of these areas," he said.
According to him, the companies of both countries are working on the development of cooperation:
"At the moment we are trying to develop the private sector and to create links between the Azerbaijani and American companies and this is done by the relevant bodies."
The ambassador also noted that they are ready to help Azerbaijan to export local agricultural products.
"We are working with farmers. We can help you to export locally grown products," said the ambassador.
