The 74th meeting of the Council of Heads of Statistical Services of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member states was held via videoconference.
The meeting was chaired by Tahir Budagov, Chairman of Azerbaijan’s State Statistical Committee, and attended by heads and representatives of statistical services from CIS member countries.
Participants discussed the progress of the “Development of CIS Statistics” project, the draft action plan for 2026, issues related to the chairmanship of the Council for 2026, as well as agenda items for the upcoming 75th meeting of the Council.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants adopted the communiqué of the 74th meeting of the Council of Heads of Statistical Services of CIS member states.
