Rouhani: Nuke talks not aimed to settle only nuclear disputes
The purpose of the nuclear talks with the six world powers goes beyond settlement of the nuclear disputes, Iran
“We were not intending to achieve a nuclear deal to settle only the nuclear disputes,” the Iranian president said, addressing a trade and industry conference in Tehran Oct. 10, the IRINN TV reported.

Rouhani added that his country was holding the talks to establish a new atmosphere in the region and the world.

It is while Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has announced in various occasions that he agreed to talk with the United States only about the nuclear case and Tehran-Washington talks will never go beyond the nuclear issue.

After several months of talks, on July 14, Iran and the P5+1 (US, Russia, China, France, UK, and Germany) announced a final accord, curbing Iran’s nuclear program in exchange for the lifting of most international sanctions.
