CBA: Volume of consumer loans drops
The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has released a statement.
Of AZN 20,095,810,000 loans of credit organizations, AZN 7,684,300,000 was allocated for housing economy as consumer loans in Azerbaijan as of September 1, 2015.

According to Oxu.Az, the statement is contained in the Central Bank`s report by results of August.

Sources in the Central Bank noted that among the total number of loans, the share of loans issued by credit organizations makes 38.2%.

The peak of consumer crediting was fixed on March 1, 2015, when the volume of consumer loans made AZN 8,416,700,000.

In the beginning of this year and in line with the report as of February 1, the share of consumer crediting among the total number of loans made 44%.

By results of August, the total volume of overdue loans made AZN 1,333,600,000 and their share in the total volume of loans constituted 6.6%.
