Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, addressed the panel session held on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit (WGS).
The Chairman emphasized that public service reforms in Azerbaijan are based on “ASAN Khidmet” service, established in 2012, at the initiative of the President of Azerbaijan, noting that this model serves to reduce bureaucracy, ensuring transparency and satisfaction of citizens.
Ulvi Mehdiyev also addressed the roundtable on artificial intelligence (AI).
The Chairman also met with the UN Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs at the World Governments Summit. The meeting was held to discuss the implementation of the Contribution Agreement signed between the State Agency and the United Nations in 2024 and the upcoming efforts.
The UN official hailed the cooperation with the State Agency and the exemplary efforts of “ASAN Khidmet” service in the field of public service delivery.
The Azerbaijani delegation of the State Agency also participated in the New Silk Road Forum, where Deputy Prime Minister Samir Sharifov delivered a keynote address.
