Approximately 60 percent of details in Virtual Museum formed by Baku Initiative Group

“Some of the information in the Virtual Museum was provided by representatives of local communities and experts. Another approximately 60 percent was formed on the basis of research and analysis conducted by members of the Baku Initiative Group,” said Abbas Abbasov, Executive Director of the Baku Initiative Group, during the presentation of the first Virtual Museum dedicated to colonialism.

Expressing hope for these statistics to change in the coming months, Abbas Abbasov added: "We will be able to obtain more details from indigenous peoples, as well as from independent experts working in the field of colonial history and decolonization. This platform creates broad opportunities for collaboration. Close cooperation with various think tanks, international organizations, and other global institutions will further enrich the database and enhance its scientific value."
