Turkish and Georgian parliamentary delegations are visiting Azerbaijan to attend the 10th trilateral meeting of Foreign Affairs Committees of Azerbaijani, Turkish, and Georgian Parliaments.
The delegations led by Nikoloz Samkharadze, Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Georgian Parliament, and Fuat Oktay, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, visited the Alley of Honors in Baku to pay tribute to National Leader Heydar Aliyev, founder and architect of modern and independent Azerbaijan, by laying flowers at his grave.
The delegations also visited Victory Park in Baku, where they placed flowers at the Victory Monument.
During the visit, the delegations were provided with detailed information about Victory Park, which was established to preserve the memory of the unparalleled heroism displayed by the Azerbaijani people during the Patriotic War, the brilliant Victory achieved, and to eternally commemorate the blessed memory of the martyrs.
The delegations were accompanied by Samad Seyidov, Chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Affairs, and other officials.
