76 antitank mines and 6 unexploded ordinances (UXO) were disarmed during the operations.
ANAMA operations manager Boyukagha Hagverdiyev said that though the coastal areas were fully cleaned off mines, the inspections show that threat of weapons and mines still remains under the sea.
He said that as the sea level rose in the last 22 years, two ammunition depots of the Soviet Union remained under the sea and delayed clearing operations.
Under relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, search operations will restart under the water from 2016.
