Azerbaijan cancels visa regime with Peru
Azerbaijani Parliament initialed the agreement cancelling the visa regime between Azerbaijan and Peru.
The agreement, which cancels visa requirements for people in the diplomatic service or owners of special passports, was initialed on February 3.

Addressing the session, the chairman of the International and Interparliamentary Relations Committee of Azerbaijani parliament, Samad Seyidov said the holders of such passports will be able to conduct bilateral visits without being required to have a visa.

"The visa regime with non-developing countries is never cancelled. The signing of such an agreement is an indicator of Azerbaijan`s development," Seyidov said.

The committee`s head went on to add that holders of those passports can stay no longer than 90 days in the country they visit.

Peru and Azerbaijan is interested in mutual relations. The two states are expected in the near future to hold mutual visits, organize business forums and cultural events for the development of relations.
