Azerbaijani Flag raised in San Jose, California - VIDEO

On the occasion of Azerbaijan`s Independence Day, the State Flag of Azerbaijan was raised on Oct. 17, 2014 at the City Hall of San Jose, CA - the Capital of Silicon Valley.
It is the first time that the Azerbaijani flag was raised at the City Hall of a California city. Azerbaijan`s Consul General in Los Angeles Nasimi Aghayev, San Jose Mayor Chuck Reed, Vice Mayor Madison Nguyen, and City Councilmember Johnny Khamis spoke at the event.
