YouTube has announced that 7 more countries will be having their own local versions, namely the Adriatics, Baltics, Bulgaria, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Belarus. This brings to 85 the total number of localized YouTube channels. This also means that viewers in each of those countries would have access to both the global content or what everyone else sees, and at the same time, see more local creators and content on their YT timeline. Each country has their own set of bloggers and YouTube superstars and now it`s easier to have access to them.
The local version of their YouTube can be accessed through the same country codes as their localized Google. So you get youtube.by, youtube.bg, youtube.kz, etc.
