Brazilian radio airs program on Azerbaijani music
Brazilian EBC radio has broadcast a program highlighting a joint concert of Brazilian Symphony Orchestra with Karabakh mugham trio conducted by People`s Artist of Azerbaijan Yalchin Adigozalov.
The concert was organized as part of a Week of Azerbaijani Culture in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Highlighting Azerbaijan`s colorful classical music and rich art of mugham, host of the program, Artistic Director of the Symphony Orchestra of Brazil, Brazilian composer Pablo Castellar informed the Brazilian audience about the creative activities of outstanding Azerbaijani composers Gara Garayev, Fikrat Amirov and Vasif Adigozalov.

Mr. Castellar also spoke about People`s Artist of Azerbaijan, conductor Yalchin Adigozalov and Karabakh mugham trio (People`s Artist, mugham performer Mansum Ibrahimov, Honored Artist, tar player Elchin Hashimov, Honored Artist, kamancha player Elnur Ahmadov), stressed the importance of their symphonic mugham project.

The program featured works of Gara Garayev`s "Seven Beauties", Fikrat Amirov`s "Azerbaijani kapprichio", Vasif Adigozalov`s "Karabakh Shikestesi", Asaf Zeynalli`s "Mugham sayaghi", and Hasan Rzayev`s "Chahargah style Rhapsody".

Pablo Castellar noted that the concert devoted to the Azerbaijani music was a unique experience for the Brazilian society, as well as the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra.
