Azerbaijani FM: There must not be any border problem with Georgia
Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev will pay a visit to Georgia Nov.6, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov told reporters on Oct.19 following the meeting with his Georgian counterpart Giorgi Kvirikashvili in Baku.

“We discussed the preparations for the Azerbaijani president’s visit to Georgia”, said Mammadyarov, noting that border delimitation is among top issues expected to be discussed with the Georgian side during the visit.

The FM went on to add that the commission on border delimitation should continue working.

“Georgia’s delegation visited Baku in March. And another meeting on the issue will take place either late this year or early next year. If strategic cooperation is what we’re talking about, there must not be any border problem between the two countries,” said Mammadyarov.
