Russian President Vladimir Putin signed Thursday a decree on awarding Leyla Aliyeva, vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and chairperson of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia (AMOR), with the Pushkin Medal.
She was awarded for her contributions to the strengthening of cooperation and friendship with the Russian Federation, the development of economic ties, the preservation and popularization of the Russian language and culture abroad.
