Russian CEC head plans to observe parliamentary election in Azerbaijan
Head of Russia’s Central Election Commission (CEC) Vladimir Churov plans to visit Azerbaijan to observe the upcoming parliamentary election in the country, a diplomatic source told Trend, AzVision.az reports.

Azerbaijani CEC confirmed to Trend that Churov has been accredited for observing the election.

The parliamentary election in Azerbaijan will be held Nov.1 with participation of 769 candidates.

Earlier, Azerbaijani CEC head Mazahir Panahov said that 1,246 people have been registered for participation in the parliamentary election. However, later, part of the candidates refused to participate in the election.
