Further, the ministry said that 209.8 million Azerbaijani manats (slightly over $200 million) have been invested in Azerbaijan’s ICT sector in the nine months from January to September.
The enterprises and structural subdivisions of the ministry invested 61.2 million manats in the country’s ICT sector.
Meanwhile, revenues in the country’s ICT sector during the first nine months of 2015 rose 9.6 percent, as compared to the same period last year.
Revenues in the ICT sector stood at 1280.9 million manats between January and September 2015.
The ICT sector accounted for 2.1 percent of Azerbaijan’s GDP during this period.
The ICT sector also accounted for three percent of the country’s non-oil GDP.
