The festival took place at International Mugham Center and brought together participants from Azerbaijan, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Turkey.
Addressing the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport Intigam Babayev highlighted the importance of the contest.
Kainat Youth Centre Director Rahib Rasulzade said the contest would contribute to popularization of young mugham singers in the world.
The International juries and finalists appreciated performances of young mugham singers.
Mugham as one of the oldest musical genres of the East has always attracted the attention of musicologists, critics of the world.The national mugham performing arts has entered a new stage of development.
